♥ Thinking Positive - #8 ♥

Hello Everyone!

I hope you had a lovely week. For me, it's back to school tomorrow after half term. However, we're going to think positive, right?

One of the best qualities you can have is confidence. Sometimes a little goes a long way. I used to be very shy and hardly talk to anyone but recently I've started to push my confidence and make new friends and now I'm really happy. I'm still a quiet person, but with a lot more confidence than before! Just by pushing yourself and trying to do new things, you are doing better than you think! If you're confident with yourself, there's nothing stopping you.

Think of the people who inspire you, it could be a singer, actor, athlete, youtuber or someone you know in real life. They need confidence to do their best, and so do you. Of course, sometimes becoming super confident won't happen straight away, but little steps can lead to something huge! Don't let anyone take away your confidence, if you're happy that's all that matters.

Most of the time I think listening to music can be a really good confident boost. Put on your favourite songs that make you happy, and enjoy! For example, like me, you might like this song, Brave by Sara Bareilles. Because sometimes, we all need to be brave!

So, this week, just be confident! You are doing better than you think.

♥ Beauty Wishlist ♥

Hello Everyone,

I've had my eyes on a few new products recently, so I thought I would share them with you!

Barry M Gelly Effect Nail Paint - Dragonfruit - As Spring and Summer are on their way, I would like some pastel and bright colours to add to my collection. The Barry M nail paints are my favourites, and the pretty pink colour of this gel effect one is great for the next few months!

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette - I've heard many good things about this palette, from the colours to the pigmentation! I wish I could own it myself, but it's pretty pricey. We'll have to wait and see....

Revlon Colourburst Lacquer Balm -  These are newly released products and seem to be really good. I already own one, Demure, and I love it. The colours are so pretty, the formula and a nice minty scent which I like. I would love to try more as well as the matte balms.

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss and Nail Polish -  One of my favourite YouTubers/bloggers, Tanya Burr, has released her own range of lip glosses and nail polishes. They have had amazing reviews so far and I'm so happy for Tanya! Each product also has a name especially chosen by Tanya. I can't wait to try them out for myself, I just have to decide what colours...

What have you seen recently that you would like to try out?

♥ Pink, Pink, Pink ♥

Hello everyone,

I have a good amount of make-up and I've noticed that my collection consists of a lot of pink! There is a mix of lips, nails and blushers so I thought it would be a cute thing to share on here! A lot of these products have received plenty of attention in the beauty YouTube/blogging world. I'm sure you've heard of them! Right, who wants to see?

♥ Here they are... ♥

♥ This fairly new product, Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Demure, is a lovely natural looking pink! I really like this product, and I hope to get more! ♥

♥ Maybelline Baby Lips - A tinted lip balm, so it keeps your lips moisturized whilst giving them a pretty pink colour, too! ♥

♥ There are also some Barry M nail polishes, Revlon lip butters, Sleek blush in Rose Gold and the Magic Wand from Lush! ♥

What are your favourite pink make-up products? Do you own any of these? Speak to you soon!

♥ Thinking Positive - #7 ♥

Hello Everyone,

Sorry I haven't posted this week, but I'm off school next week so expect lots more! Here is my little bit of advice for the next week...

This quote, as simple as it may seem, is very important. Sometimes we think we need to change ourselves or behave differently to please other people around you. Being someone you're not isn't the best thing to do because it's like you're lying to yourself and no one gets to see how wonderful you really are! If you be yourself and do what makes you happy, the people who love you for that are the ones who really matter! And if they don't, forget them and focus on being yourself, you will feel so much more comfortable and confident. If you be yourself there is nothing stopping you.

Have a good week!

♥ Thinking Positive - #6 ♥

Hello Everyone!

I hope you had a good week and looking forward to the next one, whatever you're doing. I'm excited as I'm going to Taylor Swift on Tuesday! Anyway, keep this little thought in your mind over the next 7 days...

I often find myself spending more time thinking about something than actually doing it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one! Sometimes by over-thinking about doing something, it can put us off and the task never gets done. So this week, encourage yourself to think less and do more! Be productive, tick off as many things on your to do list as you can! It will cause you a lot less stress and more time to relax after you've finished. Also, be proud of yourself when you achieve what you wanted instead of thinking about it for ages!

What are you going to do this week? Have a good one!

♥ This or That Tag ♥

Hello everyone!

I hope you're having a good day. As you can tell from the title, today I am going to be doing the This or That tag! If you want to see the things I like, keep reading!

  Make up

Blush or bronzer?
Blusher, I use it everyday and to be honest I've never really tried bronzer.

Lip gloss or lipstick?
I like both products, but I'd say lipstick as it can look more natural sometimes and less shiny.

Eye liner or mascara?
Mascara! It makes me look a lot more awake!

Foundation or concealer?
Concealer, I don't wear foundation.

Neutral or colour eye shadow?
Neutral, by a mile. They are much easier for me to wear on an everyday basis!

Pressed or loose eye shadows?
Pressed, easier to use and I don't own any loose eyeshadows.

Brushes or sponges?
Brushes as I have never used sponges.

OPI or China Glaze?
O.P.I. They are really good nail polishes and I have more O.P.I than China Glaze.

Long or short?
Short because the are easier to take care of and less likely to get caught on anything or get broken!

Acrylic or natural?
Natural so I can change the colour more often!

Brights or darks?
Bright in the summer, dark in the winter.

Flower or no flower?
Usually no flower!

Perfume or body splash?
I like both products a lot, but to me perfumes are more special, smell lovely and come in pretty bottles!

Lotion or body butter?
Body butter, especially if it's from The Body Shop!

Body wash or soap?
Body wash, I feel like it's more hygienic and easier to use than soap!

Lush or other bath company?
Lush, there products are so good and smell amazing.

Jeans or sweat pants?
Jeans. I wear them more often. I hardly own any sweatpants! Am I the only person that only has one pair? Probably!

Long sleeve of short?
Depends on what I'm doing and the weather!

Dresses or skirts?
Dresses! You can make them casual or formal, there's so many different ones and they're my favourite thing to wear.

Stripes or plaid?
I own many stripy tops!

Flip flops or sandals?
Sandals! I find flip flops so uncomfortable!

Scarves or hats?
Scarves are easier for me to style. Plus, I'm not a lover of hat hair!

Studs or dangly earrings?
Studs, I own a lot more studs than dangly earrings.

Necklaces or bracelets?
I love both pieces of jewelry!
Heels or flats?
Flats. I am the worst at walking in heels!

Jacket or hoodie?
Forever 21 or Charlotte Russe?
I never been to either of these shops but I know more about Forever 21!
Abercombie or Hollister?
I love Hollister, their clothes are cool and their body sprays smell so good!

saks 5th or Nordstrom?
I don't know, never really heard of them!

Curly or straight?
I'm a big fan of both!

Bun or ponytail?
I hardly ever wear my hair up, but I prefer buns!

Bobby pins or butterfly clips?
Bobby pins, apart from the fact that I'm constantly losing them!

Hair spray or gel?
Hair spray, I never use hair gel.

Long or short?
On me, long! I've always had long hair.

Light or dark?
I've never dyed my hair, but in the winter it turns slightly darker and in the summer it's a little bit lighter!

Up or down?
Most of the time I like to wear my hair down. Maybe I should change that a bit more often!

Rain or shine?
Shine because the weather at the moment here in England is so miserable and grey. We need some sun!

Summer or winter?
I can never choose, I think there are lovely things about both seasons! Like sun and holidays in Summer, and Christmas in the Winter!

Fall or spring?
Again, I like both seasons.

Chocolate or vanilla?

East coast or west coast?
One day, I hope I can visit  both of these places. However, I really want to go to the east coast and visit New York, my dream place to go!

Hopefully you enjoyed finding out a little bit more about me. If there's anyone reading this who also has a blog, I tag you!

♥ Thinking Positive - #5 ♥

Hello Everyone,

I'm posting twice today! Pretty good, right? We are in February already, wow! I'm glad February is here as January can be seen a quite a dull, boring month for some people. With Christmas well and truly over and the weather not being pleasant (well, if you live in the UK!). But now we have a whole new week, and a whole new month to enjoy. February is the shortest month of the year, so make the most of it!

I absolutely love this quote. Sometimes, life can bring us many difficulties and drag us down. However, I think that when something bad happens, something good will happen to cancel out the bad.

Think of it as if you are an arrow. When things feel like they are dragging you back, eventually it will get better and you will launch into something amazing! Also, the further the arrow is pulled back, the stronger your shot will be! Never give up! Focus on what you are doing, and keep aiming for the best.

What are you aiming for this week?

♥ Lately on Instagram...♥

Hello Everyone!

A while ago I shared with you a 'Week on Instagram' post. However, I've decided that instead of posting once a week, I will share it with you every once in a while. Meanwhile, you can see what I'm up to by following my Instagram, @emilylmillerxo. Now that I've got that out of  the way, this is what I've been up too on Instagram lately!

♥ We think cats are adorable..., I bought Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze, me and my sister, Never Stop Dreaming ♥

♥ Really want to go to New York one day, I love strawberries, Revlon Colourburst Lip Butters and my room! ♥

♥ Last but definitely not least...I'm going to see Taylor Swift on the Red tour on Tuesday 11th February! I can't wait, it's going to be so much fun. Taylor Swift is my favourite music artist, so I am so lucky to get to see her in concert. ♥

So that is what I have been up to lately, hope you're having a great day!
