Every blogger or creator struggles with content ideas from time to time. Sometimes you have to be patient and let the ideas come to you naturally. Sometimes you will try to brainstorm and you'll be surprised at all the ideas you come up with. Sometimes reading other blogs can give you inspiration.

The Ultimate Girl Power Playlist

In case you didn't know, tomorrow, March 8th, is International Women's Day. A day to celebrate female empowerment and women's progress in gender equality, and to recognise the work we still have left to do. This year's campaign theme is #PressForProgress, 'a strong call to motivate and unite people across the world to think, act and be gender inclusive', as described on the International Women's Day website . Over the last year, movements like the #MeToo and #TimesUp campaigns are a huge wake up call and call for action in the journey towards gender equality. During awards season, celebrities wore badges, roses or or had a particular dress code to support the campaigns against sexual assault and harassment.

Whilst government and campaigns are direct ways to take action, music and all forms of art can share powerful messages and reach a huge audience. Artists like Beyonce, Little Mix and Demi Lovato sing about girl power and confidence. I am a huge fan of girl power anthems, they can be so inspiring and motivating. So, as it's International Women's Day tomorrow, I'm showing my Girl Power Playlist, which you can listen to today, tomorrow and everyday. I'm not a politician or famous, but I'm doing my bit where I can help women feel good about themselves, and unite them through the power of music. My music taste is very Pop/R&B, so I apologise if these songs aren't your cup of tea. Hopefully it may inspire you to create your own playlist full of unifying and confidence-boosting tunes.

5 Simple Ways to Spread Positivity

As I mentioned in a previous post, I really want to start posting more about positvity on my blog. I write about it quite a lot but now I have added a category dedicated to it, which you can find here. So, this post is about five small ways to spread positvity. You don't always need a grand gesture or to spend loads of money to make someone happy. Some of the most simple and/or inexpensive ways can mean so much to somebody. You can put these into practice everyday and they will become subconscious ways to spread positivity. Also, this most may inspire you to notice and be thankful when someone does something positive for you.

What I've Enjoyed Recently

For the past couple of weeks, I felt a bit overwhelmed and uninspired, as I explained in a recent blog post. I had goals and plans, but put too much pressure to get them done as soon as possible. I decided to take some time out, so I thought I'd share the things I have enjoyed. The things that made me feel calm. The things that have made me realise there's no rush. The things that have made me feel happy. I want to start writing more posts about positivity, so talking about things that I've enjoyed definitely helps! Keep reading to find out more...
